This class compliments English 1010 well and at the same time is fresh and new. It was great to create a blog about a topic of my choice while adding in the elements taught during this course. It brings English to a whole new level of learning. Learning how to apply a large variety of grammar into my blog was a bit challenging since much of it I don't use on a daily basis. It was interesting to learn when to use different punctuation over another and when to use an em dash instead of something else.
I was able to research and analyze multiple sources of information. Most of my research was done online and I was able to filter through sources to see what would best compliment my topic while giving more credibility to my blog as a whole. Citing sources in MLA format like I did in English 1010 reinforced my ability to do just that.
Since my chosen topic was essentially learning how to program at a fundamental level I chose a style and background to fit the theme. My website it is tailored to use neutral colors while maintaining a professional feel.
